Valley Wireless - Notice history

This incident has been resolved. No further issues since replacing affected parts.

Sadly we are still having some frustrating issues at Tower 2. We have had to attend the site again and replace a component we suspect is to blame. The system is now up and all customer connections restored. We have also ordered additional parts in case of further problems. Again, apologies for these outages. This issue is troublesome to locate. Will monitor again for 24 hours.

We implemented a fix and are currently monitoring the result. Have fully recharged Tower 2 batteries offsite and completed some wiring issues. We are hopeful that this has restored service to normal. Will monitor for the next 24 hours.

Our backup systems have now also failed as of this morning. We will try and restore service by 11am. Thanks for your patience. This is affecting 50% of our customers.

We implemented a fix and are currently monitoring the result. Unfortunately we have discovered a second power issue at our tower location, which knocked out the internet again between 3pm and 4pm (while we were driving out to a different site). We have since resolved this. We are hopeful this latest fix will stay up overnight and we will do some more repair work tomorrow morning - there will be a brief outage for a few minutes when we power back up in the morning. If the internet is down for longer than say 15 minutes then please get in touch. Our efforts were further hampered by our repair vehicle breaking down this afternoon.

This incident has been resolved. Third party supplier has fixed the issue. Testing over 48 hours shows backup fibre is performing as before.

Our VOIP provider 2talk is also experiencing issues today. Phone lines may be affected.
